tour update - oct. 27th

greetings friends,

it's currently 11:35 pm here in omaha, nebraska and the 4th day of our tour is drawing to a close. i've got a stomach full of indian lentils, a box full double stuff oreos in front of me and a cute siamese kitty named peanut in my lap. life is good. the first few days of this tour have been incredible. we started in san diego at the final 7 generations show and i don't think i could quite put into words how meaningful and bittersweet that night was (though i would like to try and document my thoughts when i get some more time...) it was incredible to see so many familiar faces in one place from both near and far. thank you to everyone who made the night special for us and helped us have such a wonderful start to our tour. the following night we played in ogden, utah and had a fantastic show as well; special thanks to JP for putting on a great show for us. last night we met up with death before dishonor and steel nation in denver for a 3 day stint across the midwest. they're all amazing guys and the shows this far have been awesome. tomorrow night is chicago; we can't wait to go to the chicago diner and get vegan diner food and milkshakes.

we have a few updates regarding our tour we'd like to share. first off, we finally have a show in birmingham, AL! we're playing with comeback kid, gravemaker, dead swans, and mother of mercy at matthew's bar and grill (2208 Morris Ave. Birmingham, AL 35203) on november 10th. this will be our second time in birmingham this year; we hope to see a lot of you there!

our show in boston has been moved; apparently, the evacuate warehouse is no longer up and running. i'm waiting on an address and final details regarding the new venue and will post them as soon as possible (hopefully by tomorrow). keep an eye on our dates for details.

we're still looking for a show in the mid-atlantic (VA, NC, SC) on november 8th; if you think you can help out, let us know! otherwise we'll be playing frisbee all day and hanging out.

here are some pics from the first leg of the tour:
